With a reputation for providing high-performance installations for challenging industrial and commercial flooring requirements, Ultrasyntec is often approached to devise individual solutions to match very specific applications. When Colletts – a leading Halifax-based haulage company – were experiencing issues with their main garage floor, they called in Ultrasyntec to recommend long-term refurbishment options.
Ultrasyntec was called in to produce a 10 year life span floor for a well know Sheffield engineering company.
The job entailed mechanically preparing 1058 square metres of Power Floated Concrete using the Dust Free Blastracking System. We then carried out localised floor repairs.
We undertook a recent job for Weir Minerals based in Todmorden. The brief was to create a new sustainable floor for the inspection area of the main workshop.
The Huddersfield based firm which makes parts for the automotive industry needed a solution for their production area which was in real need of uplift. The company uses a lot of CNC machines which regularly spill out oil on to the floor, which is then transferred under foot across the entire work area.
Ultrasyntec Ltd, have recently been instructed to carry out the flooring work at Velocity Composites in Burnley, who are a specialist engineering company, serving predominantly the aerospace composites industry. The main contractor for this project was Barnfield Construction.
The floor was mechanically prepared using the Vacuum (minimal dust) Captive Blastracking System. All edges and around fixed machinery were prepared using a Diamond Grinder attached to an Industrial vac for minimal dust.
UltraSyntec recently finished yet another garage for Simpson Skoda.
