Ultrasyntec was called in to produce a 10 year life span floor for a well know Sheffield engineering company,
The sub-base was a power floated concrete slab, which first needed captive shot blasting in order to create a mechanical “key” for resin application.
Once this process was finished, the area was the cleaned down using industrial vacuums, all joints were then filled with a two part, flexible Epoxy filler.
As the concrete had been poured 4 weeks prior, there was a need to apply a DPM (damp proof membrane) primer . This is necessary due to the fact that their would still be a high degee of moisture left in the slab, which would then de-bond any further resin coverings.
Two coats of high build Epoxy floor coating were then applied over the course of the 2 days.
Total floor area 7000 Metre Square.
” I was amazed at the time it took Ultrasyntec to complete the job,
