ferfa-small-projectAt the recent Ferfa awards dinner held on the 9th November 2012 Ultrasyntec were presented with the highly commended award in the small projects category. From the outset Ultrasyntec and Resdev were aware of the exacting standards and floor finish required by the highly successful interior designers who include Halifax Plc. and Allied Donecq among their clients. In the end a resin binded system (stone carpet) was chosen which worked perfectly for the client in both practicality and aesthetics.

Yet Another Ferfa Award For Ultrasyntec Ltd

ferfa-large-project-award-2011At the recent FeRFA Awards held in Novemeber 2011 resin flooring contractors Ultrasyntec Ltd., and Resdev Ltd., were winners of the Large Project Award (over 3000 Sq. Metres) which is an Award presented jointly by a Resin Manufacturer and Contractor involved in the project. The project involved mechanically preparing 3,000 Sq. metres of flooring at VTL Automotives in Huddersfield. One coat of Pumaprime SF Solvent Free Epoxy Primer was applied followed by two coats of Pumashiel High Build Epoxy Coating. In addition to the above two areas of slip-resistant flooring were installed in front of delivery doors to ensure a safe working environment. The challenge included a seven day window to fully complete, as heavy machinery was to be delivered from Germany for immediate installation. It had been agreed that no blastrack preparation marks were to be visible and demarcation lines between areas had to be crisp and precise. Our customer was very satisfied with the end result and we were awarded two further Contracts’ both of similar size to this.
