Developing Our NVQ Expertise!

Ultrasyntec at the Ferfa Awards

There was recognition for Ultrasyntec at the annual FeRFA Awards this year, held at St John’s Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham – our very own Simon Murphy formally received his NVQ Level 2 certification for in situ resin flooring.

Simon joined our fast expanding team back in 2015 after 12 months spent travelling the world. He has completed a two year training programme run by FeRFA covering all things to do with resin flooring, featuring both practical and classroom learning.

From floor preparation through to the installation of FeRFA Type 8 systems, Simon has benefited from expert training in it all! Health & Safety has been an important topic too, including preparing initial risk assessments and tool box talks.

Here at Ultrasyntec, we now have no fewer than seven members of staff qualified to NVQ Level 2 standard, reflecting our commitment to quality, training and personnel development. NVQ is much more than a piece of paper, it’s a qualification for life. It instils confidence and ability which our operatives then take on to site, knowing they are completely up to speed with the latest skillsets, knowhow and expertise.
