Poolside Area Of An Indoor Swimming Pool Given The Non-Slip Treatment

We are pleased to show the end result of a little project that came our way.

The owner of this swimming pool wanted a decorative floor finish to the surrounding area, that had to have some degree of slip-resistance, be ultra violet protected as well as chemical resistant. Furthermore, a fall from the back to the pool for drainage.

The answer was to create the fall using a sand and cement screed all around the pools perimeter, and leave to cure for 48 hours.

Next apply a DPM (damp proof membrane) primer, to act as a barrier from moisture left in the screed.

Using the best epoxy and polyurethanes, we were then able to apply a flake system in the colours the customer choseHu 014, which was sealed with a UV stable. chemical resistant coating. A perfect finish was created.
