Warehouse & Factory Line Marking Installation

Line marking for vehicle bays in workshop

UltraSyntec installs permanent line marking and demarcation for warehouses, factories and industrial buildings across the UK. Walkways, hazard zones, racking bays, vehicle lanes, speed markings and PPE zones are set into the floor in hard-wearing resin, not laid on top in tape. We have marked industrial floors since 1996, and work nationwide from our base in Elland, West Yorkshire.

Resin line marking, not tape

Floor marking tape is quick to lay and quick to fail. On a busy site, forklift wheels, pallet trucks and daily cleaning lift the edges and tear it within weeks, and a peeling line is worse than no line; it stops being trusted.

UltraSyntec uses resin-based line marking that becomes an integral part of the floor surface. It does not peel, curl or shift; it survives wheeled traffic and wash-down regimes, and it keeps its colour and its edge for years rather than months. On a floor that must remain compliant every day, permanent marking is the only reliable option.

What we mark

Every site is set out differently, so the marking is specified to your layout and your traffic. Typical applications include:

  • Pedestrian walkways — segregating foot traffic from vehicles, as required by the HSE
  • Vehicle and forklift lanes — with direction arrows and give-way markings
  • Hazard and no-go zones — high-visibility colour to flag danger areas and keep them clear
  • Racking and storage bays — squaring off floor space for efficient, repeatable layout
  • PPE-required areas — making the rules visible where the floor changes use
  • Speed limits and directional flow — guiding traffic through the building safely
  • Emergency exits and fire routes — kept clear and clearly marked

If you need a colour scheme worked out from scratch, we can advise; see our guide to why warehouse floor marking matters and how colour coding works for the detail behind the choices.

Where we work

Line marking is rarely a job on its own; it is usually the finishing stage of a resin floor, or an upgrade to an existing one. We install it across:

  • Warehousing and logistics, the busiest environments for pedestrian-vehicle conflict
  • Food and beverage production, where markings share a floor with hygiene and wash-down demands
  • Manufacturing and engineering, around machinery, plant and material flow
  • Automotive workshops, bays, ramps and movement routes

It can be installed as part of a new resin flooring system, alongside a warehouse and logistics floor, or applied to an existing sound floor as a standalone upgrade.
