Ultrasyntec Ltd., were awarded the prestigious flooring work at Boxford’s brand new building in Elland, requiring 3250 Sq. Meters of flooring to be coated.
The power floated concrete floor was mechanically prepared using the captive (minimal dust) blastracking system.
Two coats of mid-grey High Build Epoxy coating were squeegee/roller applied across the total floor area. (FeRFA Type 3).
Fork lift traffic lanes (Red) and pedestrian walkways Red/Green, were defined again using High Build Epoxy Floor Coating.
As a health & safety measure slip-resistant flooring was installed across delivery doors coming out approx. 20 Sq. Metres – these were achieved by broadcasting aggregate across the first coat, allowing to dry, sweeping off excess aggregate and encapsulating the aggregate with a final coat of epoxy coating.
There were two major criteria, firstly job had to be completed in 8 days to coincide with machinery being delivered and installed, secondly our customer was insistent on line marking between work areas, fork lift traffic lanes and pedestrian walkways were neat and crisp.
