UltraSyntec has continued its work as an Apprentice Ambassador over the past two years with our newest apprentice Connor Patchett.
The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN) is a network made up of employers and current and former apprentices. Ambassadors volunteer their time to inspire and motivate the apprentices of tomorrow.

Connor was formally awarded his NVQ Level 2 certification on Friday, November 22nd, at the FeRFA Awards held at The Belfry Hotel in Royal Sutton Coldfield, North Warwickshire.
Connor began his apprenticeship in April 2022, when he joined the UltraSyntec team on a full-time contract. Since then, Connor has become a vital part of our team, working tirelessly to provide an excellent outcome for every customer on every site he has worked on.
Connor, as part of his Level 2 NVQ in In Situ Resin Flooring, has developed a huge bank of skills, both theoretically and practically, ranging from Health and Safety to site Preparation and the installations of all flooring types from FeRFA Type 1 to FeRFA Type 8.
Connor is now assisting Lee Sunderland in training two new apprentices at UltraSyntec, Charlie Sunderland and Alfie Hoyle, sharing the wealth of knowledge and practical talents he has picked up on his NVQ journey. UltraSyntec Director Lee Sunderland said, “Myself and Will are incredibly proud of how Connor has progressed over the past two and a half years, and we look forward to seeing him continue to develop as he builds up a bank of experience as a certified In Situ Resin Flooring layer over the coming months and years.”
