Non-Slip Flooring Solution For A New Indian Food Production Factory

Laila’s Fine Foods Ltd is a successful family run business, specialising in authentic, ready prepared meals for both the food service and retail markets.

UltraSyntec Ltd was contracted to prepare a floor in Laila’s Fine Foods newly extended premises.

The area in question was to be used for food production which meant classifying as a high care environment. Health and safety is paramount in these areas and a slip resistant surface helps to keep the work force safe. All 1150 square metres of existing concrete was captive shot blasted to remove any contamination.

Areas were primed using a low viscosity epoxy primer followed by a Resdev epoxy 4mm sandwich system, using a blue finished anti-slip aggregate to create a safe non slip flooring surface.

All stainless steels kerbs were also installed by UltraSyntec Ltd.
