New Start For Alco Valves Group

Alco Valves Completed Resin Floor

Ultrasyntec has recently finished a new flooring project for Radcliffe Construction at Alco Valves new state of the art facility at Brighouse, West Yorkshire, which went live for the start of 2017.

Alco has now moved all other sites to the new factory situated at Gooder Lane which will now produce a whole range of instrumentation valves for worldwide distribution.

The flooring required was no different in specification to the rest of the factory. It had to be tough, reliable and stand the test of time. Furthermore it needed to be attractive and convey a professional working environment.

The process after captive shot blasting was to apply two low viscosity primers. Heavy duty Epoxy Self Smoother was then trowel applied to specific colour coded areas. Once all sections were complete demarcation lines and zebra crossings were painted in.

“The works were carried out on time and on budget and we’re very happy with the resulting finish, we wouldn’t hesitate using Ultrasyntec again”
