Resin Flooring for 2025 Wrapped

2025 has been a transformational year for UltraSyntec Ltd. The year began by moving into new premises on the Rosemount Estate in Elland, which are significantly larger and give scope to expand and develop in new areas. This will enable UltraSyntec to scale operations and enhance services to customers in 2025.

2025 saw UltraSyntec take on challenging projects of all different kinds across a range of operating environments. These included the installation of safe, durable flooring solutions and specialist drainage systems for breweries and food production facilities, to the total transformation of warehouse floors spanning almost 10,000m².

Our teams have travelled from the North of Scotland to the South Coast of England. Across 2025, an area totalling 112,842m² was successfully floored using quality materials to provide long-term solutions.

Ensuring UltraSyntec is Flooring Industry with Quality

Complying with the most stringent British Industry Standards and providing the best possible service to valued customers is integral to the work undertaken. To support this commitment, in August 2025, a new Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 was adopted.

Adopting this Quality Management System has allowed us to provide an even stronger customer focus, to boost efficiency and to drive continuous improvement by implementing further documented processes and leadership methods.

In December 2025, UltraSyntec successfully passed the Stage 1 Audit and also completed the Stage 2 Audit, enabling us to start work in January with full accreditation.  Working in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 will provide UltraSyntec with new opportunities to develop new working relationships with organisations nationwide.

Project Spotlights for 2025

In 2025, the company was delighted to have two projects recommended by FeRFA: The Resin Flooring Association, who represent the pinnacle of quality and expertise in the resin flooring, surface preparation, and screeding industries.

Royal Nawaab, Stockport Pyramid, Greater Manchester

In January 2025, UltraSyntec was tasked with providing HACCP-certified food-grade flooring systems within various kitchen areas spanning almost 500m² in one of the world’s largest curry houses, seating 1,500 diners.

The system specified and installed is capable of providing the highest levels of durability to handle the rigours that come with food production, complying with stringent food hygiene regulations and achieving a strong aesthetic appeal alongside the performance characteristics.

This challenging and exacting project saw UltraSyntec win the Small Commercial Project of the Year Winner for 2025 at the annual FeRFA Awards Dinner held at the Belfry Resort, Sutton Coldfield.

Sovereign Way Industrial Estate (Phase 1), Huyton, Merseyside

Also in 2025, a mammoth undertaking was completed for Barnfield Construction Ltd. This project involved two industrial units and covered almost 10,000m².

Barnfield Construction were responsible for the rebuild of an industrial estate located at Sovereign Way in Huyton, Liverpool, entrusting UltraSyntec with installing robust and long-term flooring solutions for two of the units. Using new and innovative materials and techniques, our teams totally transformed the areas to the highest standard within a short timescale.

This project was nominated for the Large Industrial Project of the Year at the 2025 FeRFA Awards.

Investing in Our People

2025 saw a concerted drive to ensure Continuous Personal Development for all our employees. 

Mark Whiting (Site Supervisor) has now completed the CITB SSSTS training course ahead of starting his new role with us in January 2025. Alfie Hoyle and Charlie Sunderland (Apprentices) have now commenced their FeRFA Level 2 NVQ in In Situ Resin Flooring and have completed four modules. 

Our people have also attended other training courses, including FLT Refresher Training, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid at Work and Health and Safety awareness.

Investing in the Construction Manager System

To ensure UltraSyntec are running streamlined and safe operations, a huge investment has been made in the processes and systems used.

A key introduction from September 2025 has been the Construction Manager system. This has now become the central hub for all our operational processes and has a variety of key features. These include improved project tracking to ensure the continuous delivery of outstanding projects, on time and within budget, which is part of the adopted customer-centric approach.

The system also ensures safe working with all operatives before commencement of works, who must read fully and agree to all Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Furthermore, Construction Manager allows us to be transparent with our customers, allowing visibility of all project information via a customer portal.

Forecast for 2026

Following a huge year for UltraSyntec in 2025, there will be continued efforts to grow the business. This includes substantial investment in Continuous Personal Development to ensure all members of staff, from the Senior Management Team to site operatives, are equipped to deliver the best services for customers.

UltraSyntec will also look to expand its customer base and move into new sectors. Exciting new projects will be delivered and supported through further investments to build up ISO accreditations.
